"La Vie En Rose" 這經典是1945年出自 Edith Piaf 的手筆, 音樂是 Marquerite Monnot 與 Louis Guglielmi 共編撰, 他們全不在意這首歌, 並同時間交給 Marianne Michel 演唱, 她把原歌詞中的 "les choses - things" 改為 "la vie - life"。
此曲自1946年, 由她俩偶而在歌廳唱出而已, 經全年的演唱而漸見流行起來。至1947年才灌錄成唱片面世, 因為當年的 Edith Piaf 沒有資歴可登記作版權持有人, 所以唱片中的創作人名字衹見 Louis Guglielmi, 而歌曲最後决定取名為 "La Vie En Rose 玫瑰人生"
當年正處於戰後時期, 此曲的內容正描繪出 Edith Piaf 對戰爭的幸存與渴望重拾愛情之心, 這亦是大多數人所感受到的共鳴, 很快便給美國的名作詞人 Mack David 填上英文歌詞, 由 Louis Armstrong 演譯而開始流行歐美樂壇。之後更有不少歌手重新編曲, 錄製唱片, 又用作電影, 電視節目或其他媒體配樂, 其數甚多, 風靡至今。
