支那の夜 Shina no yoru - 4/4 :《 東 西 滙 》

《 支那の夜 》CHINA NIGHTS 
二次大戰期間, 在亞太區戰線的美國士兵, 由當地電台亦聽到這首英譯名字 "China Nights" 的歌曲《支那の夜》每天不停播出。戰爭結束後, 美國官兵四出找尋此曲的唱片, 雖然不知歌詞的內容, 仍希望能夠買到一張返家鄉, 作收藏和回憶一番。

"One Minute To Zero" 港譯: "火海殲敵戰"
1952年, 有關韓戰時期的愛情電影。主要是歌頌所有参予韓戰的美國陸軍和空軍、南韓、英國的陸軍和澳洲的空軍戰士, 在戰事中作出犧牲和貢獻。主演明星: Robert Mitchum 羅拔米湛, Ann Blyth 安白麗芙。

影片配樂取了 Doris Day 桃麗斯黛 "When I Fall In Love" 一曲的音樂之外, 音樂監製 Victor Young 有一首特别喜歡的歌曲, 交給男、女主角在影片中唱出, 就是改篇自《支那の夜》的 "Golden Moon"; 撰詞和首唱沒法稽查, 而歌詞前段是日文, 結尾祇有一小段是配上英文, 跟其他英語版本一樣, 難於在網上找到有文字記載。Rusty Richards 演譯的版本是1959年發行, B-面是 "Middle Hand Road"。

二戰結束後的幾年間, 《支那の夜》被世界各國改詞翻唱, 不同語言版本甚多, 成了流行一時的歌曲。自從日本戰敗後, 它的版權已經被美國接管; 直至1961年, 作詞人西條八十, 和作曲的竹岡信幸, 仍沒有收到一丁點的創作人版權收益。

李香蘭 1920-2014
1938年之前, 渡邊濱子原是 Victor 唱片公司的主唱歌手, 轉至 Columbia Records 歌倫比亞公司後才錄製《支那の夜》。戰後至1952年, 公司欲找她把此曲重新錄音, 但她已重返舊公司效力, 而李香蘭亦因《支那》兩字有所顧忌而推掉了這重新錄音的工作。翌年, 歌倫比亞唱片公司, 用回舊有的聲軌, 重新把《支那の夜》印製發行, 銷量亦相當可觀。

八十年代初,《支那》兩字每次在日本出現, 中共政府駐日使館必會提出抗議, 引發華人示威, 從此《支那の夜》一曲, 難再出現於各商營電視或電台播放。至今, 中共政權和一些人仍不知道《支那》, "China", "Chine", "Cina" 是同出一轍, 分别是不同語言而已 !

踏入二十一世紀, 2008年的年, 日本攝製一齣關於渡邊濱子一生的電視片集『戰場上的旋律』, 當中《支那の夜》一曲亦有出現。2014年, 李香蘭 山口淑子 Shirley Yoshiko Yamaguchi 去世, 日本 NHK 電視綜合節目『今日特寫』當中, 亦把電影《支那の夜》片段同播出, 作追悼一代藝人和政治家李香蘭離世。
