Danny Mirror
原名 Eddy Ouwens, 1946年生於荷蘭 Netherlands 鹿特丹 Rotterdam。二十歲, 組成樂隊 "Nelson & The Eddysons", 完成幾首歌曲錄音至唱片面世後, 離開並當上樂隊 "Teach-In", "The Shoes" 和組合 "Bolland & Bolland" 的唱片監製工作。
1970年, 以個人名字 Eddy Owens 演繹的歌曲 "Everybody's Nobody" 和 "Every Little Sigh Becomes a Lie" 並錄製唱片。1975年, 在荷蘭 Netherlands 舉辦的歐洲歌唱比賽 "Eurovision Song Contest", Eddy Ouwens 和 Dick Bakker, Will Lukinga 三人撰寫的作品 "Ding-A-Song" 由樂隊 "Tech-In" 演繹, 及後, 此曲亦登上瑞典 Sweden 和挪威 Norway 的流行榜首。至1978年在法國巴黎舉辦, 這次代表荷蘭的三人合唱樂隊 "Harmony" 所演繹的歌曲 "'t Is OK", 亦是由 Eddy Ouwens 三人合作撰寫的作品。
"THE KING IS DEAD"
1977年八月十六日, 傳來 Elvis Presley 去世的消息, 震驚了世界流行樂壇, 令不少樂迷心感悲傷。亦是 "貓王" 迷的 Danny Mirror 有所感觸而撰寫一曲 "The King is Dead" 來悼念這位當代的搖滾歌王, 完成後把歌曲改上富感情的名字 "I Remember Elvis Presley" 以此曲作悼念。唱片面世後, 同年九月十七日, 登上英國單曲榜達九個星期, 最高位置是第四名; 在荷蘭本土則登上流行榜首。
1977年八月底, 這張單曲唱片同時面世的國家有 UK, Yugoslavia, Denmark, South Africa, Italy, Brazil, Rhodesia, Spain, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Australia, France, Turkey, Hungry, Germany。但是不知原因, 可能是地域不同, 至今找遍網上的音樂平台, 在美國流行樂壇卻少有這一曲的記載。
