牠的歌聲啟發不少撰詞和作曲家的創作靈感, 內容有關 "夜鶯" 的歌曲作品很多; 在流行樂壇以單一個字彙 "Nightingale" 為歌曲名字, 至今的記錄有十六首, 之外亦有十八首歌曲, 在名字裡出現了 "Nightingale"。
