"PLAISIR D'AMOUR" - The Pleasure of Love
法國古典愛情歌曲, Jean-Paul-Égide Martini (1741–1816) 1784年的作品, 歌詞取自 Jean-Pierre Claris de Florian (1755–1794) 的小說 "Célestine", 當中一首愛情悲劇的詩。
Martini 1741年生於德國 Bavaria 巴伐利亞, 德國姓名 Johann Paul Aegidius Schwarzendorf, 經接受教會施洗後, 改上法國人名字 Jean-Paul-Égide 與義大利人姓氏 Martini, 移居法國之後, 成為他在音樂事業與政治上的回報。他以法國音樂師自稱, 開始走進法國宮廷, 任職 Marie Antoinette 皇后的樂師。亦因為他的意大利姓氏, 使他幸免於身陷法國大革命的遭遇。
"Plaisir d'amour"
1859年由法國作曲和指揮家 Hector Berlioz 新編樂譜, 特為樂隊不同樂器演奏所用; 至1880年, 再由比利時小提琴家 Louis van Waefelghem 編撰成中提琴和鋼琴獨奏的樂譜, 有文獻記載, 歌曲的首次錄音是1902年, 由美國男中音歌手 Monsieur Fernand 的演譯, 但沒有這聲频收錄, 至1923年, 第二個唱片錄音版本是美國女中音歌手 Carmela Ponselle 的演譯, 繼而有五十多個唱片錄音版本面世。
及後, 共有八個國家語言的版本先後面世, 為首是1949年的英語歌詞版本"My Love Loves Me", 1969年"I Want to Live" 和1974年 "Joy of Love", 之外另有1961年, Hugo Peretti, George David Weiss 和 Luigi Creatore 三人合作, 將樂曲的旋律重新編撰, 加上歌詞的一曲 "Can't Help Falling In Love", 在電影 "Blue Hawaii 壇島嬉舂" 由 Elvis Presley 演譯, 至今, Elvis 這版本共有十七國語言, 共二十六個曲目名字面世, 翻唱和音樂的版本合共六百多個, 不過甚少樂迷知道其旋律结構, 亦是來自這首法國的愛情歌曲作品 "Plaisir d'amour"。
