1964年, 樂隊 Holy Modal Rounders 以另類格調演譯一首由 Lead Belly 原唱的 Blues 怨曲 "Hesitation Blues", 當中歌詞由 (1:47-1:52) 所提及 "PSYCHEDELIC" 一字而起, 當時不被業界認同, 但引起樂壇業界一番議論。
