KODACHROME
美國伊士曼柯達公司 Eastman Kodak Company 1935年面世的產品, 是經多番實驗後的 "Positive Image 正面影像" 彩色電影菲林膠片, 及後, 更應用於普通 Slide Projector 幻燈放影機投放, 同時亦一改傳統彩色 "Negative film 反差影像菲林" 的相片沖印技術。
"Kodachrome" 這系列產品在2009年才宣佈停產, 這類菲林膠片與其特别的冲印服務程序, 亦延至2010年相繼終止。對於經歴過菲林膠片攝影年代的拍友, "Kodachrome" 是個全不陌生的名字。今天的先進電子科技, 大多數人已選用了數碼攝影了。

是1973年, Paul Simon 的罕見專輯唱片, 當中的一首歌曲 "KODACHROME" 的單曲細唱片面世, 即登上美國流行榜第二位; 但它從沒有踏足過英國這地方, 因為 "BBC 英國廣播公司" 力拒為 "Kodak 柯達" 的商品作宣傳, 所以這張專輯與及這一曲在某些地區不為樂迷所認識。

Paul Simon 的作品 "KODACHROME" 面世後, Eastman Kodak Co 伊士曼柯達公司對此曲名字 "Kodachrome" 認為是他們的產品名字, 所以必要把這註冊商標符號 ® 加諸於歌曲名字或印刷品上。至九十年代, Kodak 柯達公司亦以這首歌曲作菲林膠片產品的廣告。

"KODACHROME" - Simon & Garfunkel
1981年, Paul Simon 在紐約的中央公園的音樂會, 與及1991年的專輯當中 "Kodachrome" 的原歌詞的一句, 作了一個字的更改;
原來: "…everything looks WORSE in black and white"
改為: "…everything looks BETTER in black and white"
這次回敬了 "Eastman Kodak Company 柯達公司" 一記悶棍！
2008年十一月, Paul Simon 被訪問時解釋了歌曲的名字原是 "Going Home", 由於這两個字與當年流行的菲林膠片產品 "Kodachrome" 的發音極為相近, 而歌詞内容亦與攝影有關, 所以捨傳統而代之以潮流產品的歌曲名字為 "KODACHROME"。歌詞當中 "On all the CRAP I've learned in high school"; "CRAP 廢話" 即今天香港人的 "無喱頭", 是當年一般在學青年粗俗的說話, 而引致一些較保守的電臺, 因這低俗的詞彙而禁播, 成為此曲不被廣泛流傳的原因之一, 尤其是 "KODACHROME" 的單曲細唱片在美國以外一些國家, 因涉及挿入式的商品廣告而較難被接受。至2012年, 這一曲在唱片或印刷品上, 再沒有把 ® 這個商標註冊的符號加上, 可能這產品在市場上己絕跡的關係。
