"DELTA LADY"
Rita Coolidge 得到 Bonnie 和 Delaney Bramlett 夫婦賞識, 邀同一起前赴洛杉磯 Los Angeles 工作; R在當地給不同歌手當台前幕後和唱之後, 繼而 "Bonnie & Delaney" 之外, 還有 Leon Russell, Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Dave Mason, Graham Nash, Stephen Still 等; 而有她任和唱的專輯唱片亦多不勝數。
及後, Leon Russell 和 Rita Coolidge 先後離開 "Bonnie & Delaney", 同加入 Joe Cocker 為首的樂隊 "Mad Dogs and Englishman", Rita 仍然當和唱歌手, Leon 任琴鍵和結他手; 他自從和 Bonnie 共同創作 "Superstar" 之後, "Delta Lady" 一曲是 Leon Russell 的第一首個人作品, 創作靈感是因為 Rita Coolidge 而啟發 (可能當時 Rita 亦是婦女領袖組織 Alpha Gamma Delta 的成員) , 此曲交由 Joe Cocker 演譯, 並把它登上 "U.S. Billboard 200" 榜上第十一位。
