是早已編訂的電影歌曲之一, 1960年四月二十七日完成錄音, 樂譜源自 Jules Barbier 所編寫的法國歌劇 "Les contes d'Hoffmann" - The Tales Of Hoffman, 一首由 Jacques Offenbach 雅克 奧芬巴赫撰譜的樂曲 "Belle nuit, ô nuit d'amour" - Beautiful night, Oh! night of love; 歌曲有威尼斯船伕 Venice Gondolier 的傳統 "Barcarolle 船歌" 格調, 所以樂曲亦被稱 "Offenbach Barcarolle"。
但是電影拍製和唱片錄音完成後一星期, 才知道 "Offenbach Barcarolle 船歌" 不被法國、德國和荷蘭的歌、影和文化界接納, 更不允許這電影在他們國家上影; 因此, 派拉蒙電影公司唯有要另想辦法好了 ....
