回 憶

六十年代中, Patti Page 首次來到香港, 在中環 Edinburgh Place 愛丁堡廣場 City Hall 大會堂 Concert Hall 音樂廳舉行個人演唱會, 前奏客串嘉賓樂隊 "The Fabulous Echoes" 在演唱一曲 "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'", 至快將完結的一段, 主歌手開始步下舞台 ....

 

 

在當年, 無綫"咪" Wireless Microphone 仍未普及, 由於引綫所限, 衹容許他邊唱邊走至最前列的觀眾席而已, 該位粗獷型的歌手, 剛巧站在一位女觀眾面前, 唱至 "Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you", 突然雙膝下跪, 不停唱着 "Baby, baby, I need your love.... I need your love ....", 聲嘶力竭, 令該華人女士靦覥忸怩, 見他伸出手來, 於是遞上玉手, 給他一握, 在手背上輕輕一吻之後, 便快步返回台上, 引來全場熱烈掌聲。相信一些老樂迷已知拙筆所指 "The Fabulous Echoes" 隊中的 "粗獷型情聖" 歌手是那一位了!!
