"In other words 換句話說 ...."
是常用的一句托辭, 對不完全贊同的事物、觀點、意見或立場, 以婉轉和簡單的解說。"In Other Words" 亦是美國流行樂壇一首經典歌曲的名字, 曲詞作家 Bart Howard 1954年的作品, 由於他是 Blue Angel 歌舞團的鋼琴手和主持人, 理所當然把歌曲交給歌舞團的女歌星 Felicia Sanders 在舞台上首唱。

歌曲作品仍未錄製唱片之前, 曾經有音樂出版商試圖說服 Bart Howard 把歌詞 "Fly me to the moon" 改為 "Take me to the moon", 但被他拒絕。經多年之後, 他在回憶中聲稱:「我花了二十年才知道要怎麼在二十分鐘之內寫出一首歌」。這意味 ....

1954年四月, 作品交給音樂劇女歌手 Kaye Ballard 演繹, 由 Decca 唱片公司錄製, 繼而有不同唱片公司三位歌手, Chris Connor、Sylvia Syms 和 Don Heller 的錄音版本。1956年, Johnny Mathis 演繹這一曲, 唱片公司把歌曲取以較長的名字 "In Other Words (Fly Me To The Moon)"。至1961年, 再有近三十位歌手的錄音版本面世, 當中有樂迷喜愛的歌手如 Dydie Gorme、Nancy Wilson、Peggy Lee 和 Felica Sanders 等, 但仍只取歌曲的原名 "In Other Words"。

1962年三月, Nat King Cole 的版本, 歌曲名字則用上 "Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words)" 面世; 至今, 多數的翻唱和純音樂版本, 名字亦只取以 "Fly Me To The Moon" 而已; 之外, 還有不同語言和純音樂演奏的錄音版本, 有記錄共達一千多首在各國流行樂壇亮聲並大受歡迎; 最為人知的版本是1964年由 Quincy Jones 編曲, Frank Sinatra 以輕快節奏的演繹, 收錄在《It Might as Well Be Swing》這張專輯内。

1969年五月十八日, 美國 NASA 太空總署的 Apollo10 阿波羅繞月飛行任務, 以 Sony TC-50 卡式錄音機把 Frank Sinatra 的版本 "Fly Me To The Moon" 傳送回地球, 此舉令歌曲更被樂迷追捧而成為年代的標誌歌曲作品, 受歡迎的高峰期是同年七月十六日, Apollo 11 阿波羅在登陸月球之前亦不停播放這一曲。2009年, 在太空任務四十周年的紀念儀式, 與及首位踏足月球的太空人 Neil Armstrong 2012年離世的追悼會上, 爵士女歌手 Diana Krall 亦彈唱一曲 "Fly Me To The Moon"。
