Elvis Presley 皮禮士利 1970年的歌曲, 收錄在 "The Wonder Of You" 的"B"面, 因此未被歌迷關注而沒有登上 "Billboard Hot 100" 的流行榜上; 及後, 同名的 Single 細唱片亦衹能夠在 "Cashbox Chart" 佔六十五位而己。這首歌是由 John L. Christopher 撰曲, 與另一歌曲 "Always On My Mind" 亦是有他參予創作的經典之一。

"THE JORDANAIRES" 1948年組成的教堂福音歌曲樂隊, 後來伸延至鄉謠與搖擺歌曲的領域, 他們曾以不同樂隊名字在流行樂壇出現: "Foggy River Boys", " Jordanaires", "The Jordanaires featuring Ray Walker", "The United & The Jordanaires"。與及 "Les Jordanaires"。
他們在1956至70年期間, 給 Elvis Presley 在錄音窒和舞台演出的和唱組合。1970年樂隊的專輯 "Elvis To Christmas From The Jordanaires" 在所有的聖誕歌曲當中亦把 "Mama Liked the Roses" 收錄在內, 封套設計以 Elvis 的頭像出現, 這可見他們深知 Elvis 對此曲的重視, 與及他對媽媽的敬愛 !
