身處舊愛的婚禮, 目睹一對新人步入教堂之時, 泛起了難捨難離的心情, 令失落感倍增。一首五十年代的經典作品, 每當聽到這一曲的音樂引子, Patti Page 和"銀嗓子"姚莉的歌聲, 即刻從腦海中浮現出來。
原 作 品
是出自藍調女歌手 Jessie Mae Robinson 的手筆, 她是美國樂壇, 少數能衝破膚色藩籬的黑人創作歌手之一。作品首唱錄音是1952年六月, 交由 Damita Jo 演譯, 但唱片面世後, 反應未如理想; 同年八月, 再交由鋼琴女歌手 Hadda Brooks 和出道幾年的 Patti Page, 分別由兩人的唱片公司錄製, 而這歌曲卻成為 Patti Page 自1947年出道以來, 繼1950年的 "All My Love (Bolero) 和 "Tennessee Waltz" 之後另一首招牌歌曲, 與B-面 "You Belong to Me" 的單曲細唱片, 打進1952年八月美國流行榜 "Billboard Chart" 達二十一星期, 亦一度登上榜首位置。

1953年, 另一版本由英國女歌手 Alma Cogan 演譯, 在英國同被樂迷歡迎。在美國 Hank Snow 的男版, 在鄉謠榜 "Billboard Hot Country Single Chart" 亦登上榜首。繼而, 歌曲被當年以胡鬧諧趣著名的組合 Spike Jones & his City Slicker 改篇成惹笑諧趣版本亦大受歡迎; 五十年之後, 2012年 Ray Stevens 的翻唱版本, 更被篇列入 "The Encyclopedia of Recorded Comedy Music 諧趣歌曲唱片大全", 可惜找不到這個現代版的錄音, 反而1952年 Spike Jones 的 78rpm 舊版本唱片仍可從網上平台有上載。
