SOFIA KÄLLGREN
Eastward Westward《東方西方》
北歐, 瑞典女歌手, 原名字 Anna Sofia Helena Källgren, 1970年生於瑞典 Sweden, Högsbo。除了母語之外, 她能唱英語和華語歌曲, 亦把華語歌曲撰上英之歌詞作演譯。
"Gomorron Sverige 瑞典早晨"
十二歲首次亮相瑞典電視台 "Sveriges Television" 電視節目 "Gomorron Sverige 瑞典早晨"。1986年, 參加一個電視天才表演節目 "Folkparkernas talangjakt", 她演譯百老匯音樂劇 "CHESS" 之一的歌曲, 原唱由 Barbara Dickson 和 Elaine Paige 1984年的經典 "I Know Him So Well"。
一個1984年成立, 為紀念三十年代瑞典流行女歌手 Ulla Billquist 而命名的奬學基金 "Ulla Billquist-scholarship", 以鼓勵年青歌手在歌曲和音樂創作。1987年, 十七歲的 Sofia 獲頒予獎學金, 她繼續其學業, 主修人類生態學和音樂。

"MelodiFestival 1989"
Sofia Källgren 参加由瑞典公共廣播機構主辦的音樂大賽 "Melodifestivalen 1989", 她演唱的歌曲 "Världen Är Vacker"- Beautiful World 雖然未能入圍, 但大會特别邀請一位嘉賓與她共同客串一曲 "Världen Är Vår"- This is our world 而贏取不少掌聲。

1990年的 "Melodifestivalen" 音樂大賽, 這次 Sofia 一曲 "Handen på hjärtat"- Hand on my heart, 加上三位舞蹈藝員在台上表演, 這次雖然未能贏得獎項, 卻被樂壇業界垂青。1998年, Sofia 在瑞典, 斯德哥爾摩 Stockholm, Göta Lejon 演出音樂劇, 瑞典版《西貢小姐》, 並獲得最佳女主角獎。
及後, 在不同教堂音樂會和節日作歌唱表演。2000年参予 "Rhapsody in Rock 摇滾狂想曲" 與其他知名歌手作巡迴演出。"Melodifestivalen 2003 歌唱大賽", 與男歌手 Robert Wells 合作, 可惜仍未能奪奬。
2005年, 應中央電視台邀請, 作第一次中國之旅; 在北京、上海、青島、廣州等地巡迴表演; 一曲 "十八姑娘一朵花" 的英文版之後, 成了第一位西方歌手跟中國唱片公司 Chinese Record Corporation (CRC) 簽約。由於她早已嚮往中國文化, 對華語歌曲極有興趣, 她把一些華語歌曲先作了解內容, 撰上英文歌詞和演譯, 這鼓毅力贏得不少國內外歌迷的擁戴。2005年, 第一張専輯收錄了十多首由她撰上英文歌詞的中國歌曲, 名為 Eastward Westward《東方西方》第一輯面世。2006年, 第二輯《東方西方》"民歌新語" 面世。兩張專輯的錄音質素甚高, 可作試機天碟, 成了 Hi-Fi 發燒友的收藏品。
