自踏足樂壇至1944年, 幾年間所参予的電影:
1939 "Donald's Cousin Gus" : 迪士尼卡通電影: 聲音演出
1943 "Thank Your Lucky Stars"【星光燦爛】歌舞電影: 歌星
1944 "Up In Arms"【軍中春色】: 女主角
1944 "Follow The Boys"【金碧輝煌】歌舞電影: 歌星
1944年面世, 歌詞道出二戰期間, 為人妻子或女友, 與服役参軍的摯愛兩地相隔, 雖感弧寂, 决意承諾等候他回來重聚。此曲正要錄製時, 卻遇上由 "American Federation of Musicians 美國樂師協會" 自1942年發起的會員大罷工; 歌曲撰寫和編曲已完成, 但不知待至何時才可錄製唱片, 監製有見及此, 找來一隊和唱組合, 以 "Cappella 和聲伴唱" 取代樂器來演譯; 歌曲面世, 大獲好評, 繼而, 有幾位女歌手翻唱的版本陸續出現。
及後, 此曲被列入 "美國電影學會 America Film Institute" 所制訂 "AFI'S 100 YEARS, 100 SONGS 電影歌曲一百首" 的目錄册内。

"I'll Walk Alone" 一首被樂迷認為是女士的歌曲, 至1952年才有男歌手 Don Cornell 的演譯出現; 而旱於 1944年此曲面世的同年, 有一首類似內容, 衹給男士演譯的歌曲 "Till Then", 由 "The Mills Brothers" 首次錄製; 至今衹見有男歌手如 Ray Peterson, Pat Boone, Al Martino, Sammy Davis Jr., The Four Preps, The Classics, The Lettermen, Michael Bublé 的演譯出現而已, 尤其是在二戰期間 "Till Then" 被樂壇視為是回應女士的一曲 "I'll Walk Alone" !

"I'LL WALK ALONE" - Dinah Shore
1960年重新以原音樂錄製的版本, 至2006年, 其連依士活 Client Eastwood 執導一齣關於硫磺岛戰役的電影 "Flags Of Our Fathers 戰火旗蹟", 挿曲之一 "I'll Walk Alone" 亦取 Dinah Shore 1960年的版本。
Dinah Shore 1916-1994
自1938年正式踏足歌影視界, 她参予的電影、舞台表演、唱片錄音和担任電視節目主持, 均成了美國大小家庭, 一位極受歡迎, 更可登堂入室的客人。
她熱心於職業高球運動, 贊助不少高球賽事, 更是 "世界高球殿堂級" 和 "電視名人堂" 的成員之一。她經歴兩次婚姻, 她生於閏年1916年二月二十九日, 每四年衹有一次生日的 Dinah, 1994年二月二十四日, 病逝加州洛杉磯, 比華利山家中, 在兩兒三孫陪伴下與世長辭, 享年七十八歲, 遺體於五天後她的生日, 以火葬儀式完成。
在她的出生地 Tennessee 田納西州 Winchester 溫徹斯特, 有以她命名的道路 "Dinah Shore Boulevard"。
