Geoff Mack (1922 – 2017)
Albert Geoffrey McElhinney, 生於澳洲 Melbourne 墨爾本 Surrey Hills 郊區。1942年加入 "RAAF" 英國皇家空軍, 接受飛機機械培訓。1944年, 在 Borneo 婆羅洲服役時期, 常以結他和歌唱令同袍注目, 因而多次被借調, 與來訪的藝人同台表演以慰勞軍隊。二戰結束後, Mack 隨佔領軍前往日本演唱, 被任命為 "WLKS-AM" 電台, 與英聯邦佔領軍的代言人。
1946年退役, 專注在歌唱工作; 1950年, 到英國、美國、法國、德國和日本演唱後, 返回 Australia 澳洲, 繼續到不同場合演唱。1959年面世的歌曲 "I've Been Everywhere" 不被樂迷注目, 直至1962年, Lucky Starr 把歌曲演繹和錄製唱片卻大受歡迎, 更登上了美國、德國和日本樂壇的流行歌曲榜。Geoff Mack 一生的歌曲作品不多, 這一曲卻引起世界樂壇的注目。2017年在澳洲 Queensland, Gold Coast 離世, 享年九十四歲。

1959年, "I've Been Everywhere" 面世之後, 啟發了樂壇不少創作靈感, 自 Lucky Starr 開始, 隨着這歌曲的熱潮, 有很多經改編的不同歌詞版本, 内容和風格各異, 以原作品的名字或以嶄新的名字出現, 當中有分男或女, 亦有两人對唱, 與及諧趣戲謔的演繹, 在樂壇陸續面世。

"I've Been Everywhere" 在流行樂壇成為一鼓熱潮之後, 令至 Geoff Mack 有被過份吹捧的感覺; 當個人獨處之時, 想起這衹是人生的名與利而已, 最重要還是健康。1966年, 以舊作的曲調和風格完成一曲, 以表達自己的健康在任何情况下, 衹要樂觀面對和接受, 並會豪邁地說聲 "I've had everything 我甚麼都擁有過!"。
