Funiculì, Funiculà "纜車, 纜車"
登山纜車啟用之後, 但很少人願意使用, 由於被認為如要登上 Vesuvius 維蘇威火山的話, 以傳統的騎驢或馬匹仍較為安全; 纜車公司為了鼓勵那不勒斯人, 與及遊客選擇乘坐登山纜車 "Funiculà", 於是把 "Funiculì funiculà" 的歌詞略為更改, 以宣傳乘坐纜車的好處, 能讓你毫不費力可登上高山, 欣賞美麗的風景; 不過, 纜車運作至1944年, 在一次火山爆發把鐵路完全毀掉, 而原創歌曲至今仍然流傳下去。

1904年, 首次由 Ferruccio Giannini 演繹之後, 原義大利語版本有不同歌手翻唱之外, 還有六種語言和純音樂演繹的唱片錄音版本, 近達七十多首在各國流行樂壇面世, 樂譜曲調更被一些電視節目、卡通電影用作插曲或配樂, 亦有 Pizza 披薩薄餅店將歌詞改成廣告作宣傳, 自此而成為童謠和遊戲音樂。至今 "Funiculì, Funiculà" 仍然是不少藝術歌曲演唱家在表演台上的精選歌曲之一。
