Bob Dylan 的音樂啟蒙始自他的偶像 Woody Guthrie 和民歌大師 Pete Seeger, 而創作靈感
均來自民間。 Bob Dylan 曾公開聲稱感自豪能與 Peter Seeger 同台於 Newport Folk Festival 1964.
