自此, Jimmy Scott 人氣急升, 樂壇有一糸列專輯唱片錄音, 名為 "Regal Records Live in New Orleans 1951-1955" 突然出現, 就是當年 Jimmy 和 Paul Gayten 樂隊在 New Orleans 新奧爾良 Rip's Playhouse 現場演出的錄音; 這次, 唱片公司 Regal Records 以一張舊相片作封套, 令這錄音重見天日。

1951年, Jimmy Scott 决意以個人發展, 離開 Lionel Hampton & His Orchestra 之後, 至1953年, 在美國第三十四任總統, 共和黨: 艾森豪威爾 Dwight D. Eisenhower 的就職典禮, Jimmy 再一次與 Lionel Hampton 同台演出美國白宮 White House。
1993年, 美國第四十二仼總統, 這次民主黨: 克林頓 Bill Clinton 入主白宫的就職典禮晚會, 嘉賓雲集, Jimmy Scott 以一曲獻給總統。同是美國白宫, 兩位來自不同政黨的總統就職, 同是四十年前的經典 ....

1963年 "Tangerine" 標誌印製的專輯唱片被 Savoy Records 下禁制令停止發售。2003年, 由於 Savoy Records 早把四十年前原來唱片的封套全部燒毀; 當年的大環境下, 要這專輯重見天日, 唯有將存下來的黑膠唱片, 重新印製封套, 加上以限量版發行, 重現樂壇。在 Compact Disc 的年代, 黑膠唱片成了樂迷的收藏品。
Jimmy Scott 出現於 Doc Pomus 的葬禮儀式獻唱之後, 自此他把過去所失去的一切, 重新取回到手裡。
在接受獎項時, 他發表自己的看法 : 有時, 我不在乎何人何地, 我祇活在自己的歌唱世界裡。要知道, 你的工作是唱歌或講故事; 你所唱的歌, 你講的故事必需是正確, 就是這樣了 !

Little Jimmy Scott 在生活苦困時, 做了應做的事, 儘管吸煙飲酒, 經歴五段婚姻, 從没有做過為人父的日子; 但是, 對以前所失去的並没有半點懊惱。
2013年, 在克利夫蘭 Cleveland 家鄉, 在睡眠中辭世, 享年八十八歲。
