創作歌手夫婦與 Everly 兄弟同是 Acuff-Rose Music 音樂出版公司的歌曲創作人成員, Bryant 夫婦的作品不少, 包括曾被其他歌手或樂隊推掉的歌曲 "Bye Bye Love", 至交由 Everly Brothers 演繹之後亦不負所托, 成為今天的經典歌曲。

The Everly Brothers 一曲 "Bye Bye Love" 在樂壇嶄露頭角, 簽約成為 Cadence Records 公司旗下的歌手, 繼而演繹和錄製二十多首單曲唱片, 在 Bryant 夫婦合作或個人的作品當中, 有五首在兩年內的銷量過百萬張而成為金唱片, 全部都是六、七十年代香港民歌手不可或缺的典範, 亦是大多數香港樂迷耳熟能詳的經典歌曲。

Boudleaux Bryant (1920-1987) 生於 Georgia 佐治亞州 Shellman 修爾曼市, 自幼學習古典小提琴。1937至1938年期間, 曾参予 Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra 亞特蘭大交響樂團, 但還是對鄉村搖滾歌曲更感興趣, 因而加入 Hank Penny 的樂隊 "Radio Cowboys", 並開始在流行樂壇的事業。

Felice Bryant (1925-2003) 生於 Wisconsin 威斯康新州, Milwaukee 密爾沃基, 一個意大利裔家庭, 在學期間亦修讀音樂。世界二戰, 参予當地勞軍組織 "The United Service Organizations Inc. 聯合服役部隊"表演樂團。

"ALL I HAVE DO IS DREAM"

1945年, 二戰後, Bryant 來到 Milwaukee 密爾沃基, 在一家酒店下榻和演出時, 遇到在該酒店任職升降機操作員的 Felice, 兩人由禮貌點頭、認識和攀談, 幾天後開始結友至戀愛, 一年間同步入教堂。在她的回憶中, 在酒店遇到 Boudleaux 那天, 已確定是她八歲時, 在夢中看到的同一面孔, 不過, 從沒有想過, 會在十九歲能遇上這個夢中人。Boudleaux Bryant 的作品 "All I Have to Do is Dream" 正描繪兩情相悅之後, 一篇 Felice 夢境成真的回憶。

BIRD DOG - 1958

Johnny 用盡方法哄騙歌者的女友, 欲一親芳澤, 引致歌者不快, 他在歌中取笑這個無恥之徒, 手法拙劣可憐, 揶揄他猶如獵人的 "Bird Dog 搜鳥犬", 尋獲雀鳥獵物而試圖從中偷走。
