SIMON & GARFUNKEL

原是一首充滿地方文化色彩的音樂, 給 Simon & Garfunkel 把它演譯之後, 成了一首世界知名的 "El Cóndor Pasa (If I Could)"。
Simon & Garfunkel : El Condor Pasa (1970)
(Daniel Alomía Robles, English lyrics by Paul Simon, arranged by Jorge Milchberg)
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world it's saddest sound
Its saddest sound
I'd rather be a hammer than a nail
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world it's saddest sound
Its saddest sound
I'd rather be a forest than a stree
Yes I would, if I could, I surely would
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world it's saddest sound
Its saddest sound
I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet
Yes I would, if I only could, I surely would
