十先令是多少錢？
1910至1961年, 南非仍源用英國的幣制, 十二便士 Pence 等於一先令 Shilling, 二十個先令等於一磅 Pound; 當年政府的估計, 一個住在城市的黑人家庭, 每周至少需要三十七先令和六便士才能過活, 而 Solomon Linda 所收的十先令, 祗可給一個黑人家庭, 每周所需的四分之一而已。

Solomon Linda 這一曲, 包括 "Evening Birds" 樂隊的其他歌曲, 由意大利人 Eric Gallo 開設的唱片公司 Gallotone Record Company 分别錄製成 78rpm 唱片發行銷售, 當年, Eric Gallo 祇給了 Solomon Linda 南非紙幣十個先令 South African Shilling 把所有歌曲買下之外, 他們一眾還要参予錄音室工作, 至所有歌曲完成錄音為止。
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
1994年, 一齣 Walt Disney 和路迪士尼的卡通電影, 至舞台音樂劇公演, 令世界流行樂壇開始有所疑問, 誰是此曲的原作者? Pete Seeger? 或是一支擁有 Bright Tunes Music 唱片公司的樂隊 "The Tokens"? 而早於七十年代, 這樂隊把 George Harrison 1971年的 "My Sweet Lord" 訴諸法庭, 力指是抄襲旗下的女子組合 "The Chiffons" 1963年的流行歌曲 "He's So Fine", 而最後更獲得勝訴和賠償。
"The Tokens" 完成 "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" 之後, 成績斐然; 至交由 Karl Denver 翻唱, 再登 1962年 UK Single Chart 第四位; 1966年, Bert Kaempfert 亦登上 UK Single Chart 第二十位; Robert John 登上 US Billboard Hot 100" 榜上第三位, 各翻唱版本成績驕人。至九十年代末, 藉着和路迪士尼 Walt Disney 的氣勢, "The Tokens" 欲把亦是由 George Weiss 撰詞的 B-面歌曲, 同樣是南非 Zulu 祖鲁語的 "B'wa Nina (Pretty Girl)", 在興致勃勃, 要交給其他歌手翻唱之前, 卻收到來自南非方面的消息 ....
