"白鸛 Ciconia ciconia" 是烏克蘭的國鳥, 是象徵家庭, 愛國, 忠誠與春天來臨。之外, "Nightingale 夜鶯" (Luscinia megarhynchos) 烏克蘭語稱為 "Soloveiko", 在民間同樣被受尊崇, 牠美妙的歌聲代表了烏克蘭人的浪漫, 亦是音樂與藝術的標誌。
2020年, Nederland (Holland 荷蘭) Rotterdam 鹿特丹舉行 "Eurovision Song Contest 歐洲歌唱大賽", 各國的参賽樂隊和歌手早已準備一番, Ukraine 烏克蘭樂隊 Go_A 的参賽歌曲 Solovey (Nightingale) Cоловей, 但因 Covid-19 疫情而取消, 大會並不知道疫情會帶來這樣的影響, 最後, Go_A 樂隊衹好將作品歌曲帶上音樂舞台, 以幻彩的燈光演出, 大受歐洲樂迷歡迎。

(16) "Nightingale" (Yiddish 猶太)
在俄羅斯出生, 猶太裔的作曲、撰詞家 Irving Berlin (1888-1989) 1911年一首題材新穎的經典歌曲, 是他在早期職業生涯的作品, 當時他是專於創作以對話形式的生活小品歌曲。一篇以 Yiddish 猶太風格, 幽默和浪漫的作品, 是當時美國流行歌曲文化的元素, 在歌曲裡, 两個主角同以猶太人的名字 Minnie Rosenstein 與 Abie Cohan; 講述青年 Abie 向心儀的少女 Minnie 求婚, 為赢得她的芳心, 稱讚她的歌聲可媲 Italy 美義大利女高音 Luisa Tetrazzini, 又承諾給她這樣, 那樣....。歌曲作品由男高音歌唱家 Maurice Burkhardt 於1911年作首次演繹和唱片錄音, 面世之後卻不被樂壇關注。
Maude Maggart 1975年生於紐約, 在一個充滿戲劇文化基因的家庭長大, 父母都是演員, 祖母曾經是二十年代的舞台合唱團歌手。Maude Maggart 2001年開始在 Los Angeles 洛杉磯的 Cabaret 歌廳當駐場歌手, 2005年在她的專輯 "Maude Maggart Sings Irving Berlin", 一新耳目把 "Nightingale" 這首美國早期罕見的流行歌曲注入新活力, 以她演繹敘事式歌唱的能力, 輕快的節奏, 細膩的腔調, 把舊風格的歌曲帶回現今的流行樂壇。
