THE GIRL FROM GREECE SINGS
1961年, 美國 Mercury Records 唱片公司, 打破公司傳統, 晉升時任唱片監製, 衹有二十八歲的 Quincy Jones 成為首位非洲裔的副總裁。翌年, 他邀請 Nana Mouskouri 首次離開歐洲, 來到美國 New York 紐約, 錄製一張全是英美流行歌曲, 以抒情爵士樂節奏演繹的專輯 "The Girl from Greece Sings", 唱片1962年面世之後, 成為她走進美國流行樂壇和表演舞台的門檻。

Michel Legrand
1963年三月二十三日, 在倫敦舉行的 "Eurovision Song Contest 歐洲歌唱比賽", 她代表 Luxembourg 盧森堡, 歌曲是法國作曲家 Michel Legrand 的作品 "À Force de Prier", 她的演繹引起歐洲流行樂壇的注目, 繼而更贏得法國 "Grand Prix du Disque" 唱片大獎。
1964年, Michel Legrand 為她創作兩首法文歌曲 "L'Enfant au Tambour", 和另一首是1964年度 "Oscar-nominated Film" 奥斯卡提名電影, "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg" 的插曲 "Je ne pourrai jamais vivre sans toi", 影片的英譯: "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg", 在香港上映時的英文名字: "The Sound of Love" 港譯:"愛果情花"。影片中, 女星 Catherine Deneuve 嘉芙蓮丹露的演繹, 由法國女歌手 Danielle Licari 作幕後代唱, "Je ne pourrai jamais vivre sans toi" 意譯: 沒有你我活不下去"; 英文版歌詞由名作詞家 Norman Gimbel 執筆, 同年十二月面世, 成為日後的經典 "I Will Wait For You" ....

"An Evening with Belafonte/Mouskouri"
在歐洲的人氣大增之後, 繼而至1965年, 在美國流行樂壇業界推動, Nana Mouskouri 應邀参予 Harry Belafonte 全年的巡廻演唱; 至完成, 更錄製一張専輯唱片, 收錄了巡廻演出期間, 由個人和兩人合唱的希臘歌曲於1966年面世。專輯以 RCA 唱片公司標誌, 由不同地方的 RCA 唱片公司錄製發行, 至今有紀錄的版本達四十個, 國家有 USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Greece, France, Japan, Spain, Yugoslavia; 在臺灣則交由當地 Haishan Records 海山唱片公司印製和發行。
