Nabucco
意大利歌劇作家 Temistocle Solera 根據 Hebrew Bible 希伯來聖經第九章 "Book of Kings 列王紀" 的記載, 與及從一本描述關於耶路撒冷被毀滅的詩集 "Book of Lamentations 哭泣輓歌" 改篇成歌劇, 1836年完成, 至1841年由作曲家 Giuseppe Verdi 譜上音樂。1842年三月九日在 Milan 米蘭 La Scala 歌劇院作首演, 劇目名字 "Nabucodonosor", 後稱 "Nabucco"。
歴 史 與 歌 曲 : "Va', pensiero, sull'ali dorate"
公元前 586年, Babylon 巴比倫國王 Nabucodonosor II 尼布甲尼撒二世, 揮軍入侵猶太王國, 聖城耶路撒冷被毀掉, 聖殿同被燒毀, 最終至滅國。劇情以政治為背景之外, 亦添上一些浪漫, 劇中的歌曲 "Va', pensiero, sull'ali dorate", 意譯 "Fly, thoughts, on wing of gold 飛翔, 想想, 在那金色的翅膀上", 內容是舊約聖經 Psalms 詩篇, 第137章, 記載猶太人失去家園之外, 淪為獄囚或奴隸, 成為歴史上的 "Babylonian Captivity 巴比倫之囚"。
在歌劇中, 侍奉上帝的猶太人失去家國, 又成為奴隸之後, 以一曲來抒發悲傷和哀悼, 唱出嚮往自由的心聲, 亦是歌劇第三幕最著名的曲目之一, 每次演出至謝幕時, 更成為觀眾 "Encore" 的曲目。後來, 樂譜經撰上不同國家語言以勵志歌曲面世, 就是來自這經典 "Va', pensiero"。
Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi (1813-1901)
Giuseppe Verdi 自1839至1867年的歌劇作品有二十六齣, 最為樂迷認識的作品有1845年: "Giovanna d'Arco 聖女貞德"、1847年: "Macbeth 馬克白"、1851年: "Rigoletto 弄臣"、1853年: "La traviata 茶花女" 和 "Il trovatore 遊唱詩人"。
在早期, 他對復興義大利的統一, 充滿激情、熱忱和寄望, 亦因而一度曾参加政治活動。1841年完成歌劇 "Nabucco 拿布果" 的作曲, 這是他的第三部作品, 當中的 "Va' pensiero, sull'ali dorate" 在歌劇中出現之後, 引起義大利人的哀愁和感觸, 曾有人建議把它用作意大利國歌。
1866年, Austria 奧地利王國佔領意大利北部, 當年的 "Regno Lombardo-Veneto 倫巴廸-威尼斯王國", Lombardy 倫巴廸, 即現今 Wuhan Coronavirus 武漢肺炎事發後的首個重災區; 這次被 Austria 奧地利大軍入侵, 成為義大利第三次獨立戰爭。1866年六月二十日, 戰事展開, 義大利軍民一心, 祗用五十三天, 把奥國軍隊擊退, 收回被佔領的 Venetia 威尼斯地區, 和 Lombardy 倫巴廸大區的城市 Mantua 曼圖亞這兩個人口稠密的城市, 成為意大利統一進程的重要一步。
連 儂 牆 "VIVA VERDI"
當年, Austria 奧地利軍隊戰敗, 由於錯判意大利人, 認為他們衹熱衷於歌曲和音樂, 不理國家安危, 在坊間傳唱的歌曲 "Va' pensiero, sull'ali dorate", 聽來古樸, 衹會令人意志消沉而已。
奧國軍隊又看到市面街道各處出現的 "連儂牆" 寫着 "VIVA VERDI", 以為多數意大利人衹沉迷在這位作曲家 Giuseppe Verdi 的歌曲而已; 由於對民心所向全不理解, 亦有輕敵之意, 最終被打敗。
