Iggy Pop
原名字 James Newell Osterberg Jr., 1947年生於美國密芝根州 Michigan, 母親是丹麥和挪威裔, 父親 James Newell Osterberg Sr. 是英國和愛爾蘭裔, 自幼被任職醫護的美藉瑞典人領養, 從而被改上瑞典人姓氏 Osterberg。Iggy 自年少已喜愛打鼓, 父親把自己的睡房讓給他, 才夠空間擺放鼓具供練習; 長大後, 以音樂為業, 從歌手開始至歌曲創作, 唱片監製和演員。
"AMERICAN CAESAR"
1967年, 被樂隊 "The Doors" 的啟發, 組成樂隊 "Psychedelic Stooges" 又改上名字 Iggy Pop 在樂隊任主唱歌手, 由於台上作風大胆狂野, 言行舉止和服裝衣飾, 常令人驚訝和注目; 在歌唱方面, 對當時 "proto-punk 前衛崩克" 音樂的影響很大。1993年一張専輯唱片 "Amaerican Caesar" 面世, 當中的 "Louie Louie" 給他把歌詞改成對時事和政治作一番戲謔。
